Office Manager
General Description / Summary :
L.I.F.E. Inc is looking for an Office Manager. The Office Manager will report to the Healthcare Services Administrator and will be responsible for supervising our medical secretaries, working closely with our nurses, and doctor’s office to ensure that our participants get the quality care they require.
Work Schedule : Monday- Friday 9 : 00am -5 : 30pm
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Ordering and disseminating medical supplies adequate for the workforce
- Communicating with doctors’ offices and other medical personnel
- Keeping printers, copiers and faxes ready for use
- Running reports based on department needs
- Supervising medical secretaries
- Contacting and scheduling employees for training
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department and staff
- Create and monitor nurses’ schedules
- Act as the face of the agency when dealing with pharmacies on medication and / or supply issues
- Manage small and large projects within the department
- Support the agency by working with others to schedule special events
- Develop and distribute action items from nursing meetings
- Support Health Services Administrator as needed by managing action items, taking meeting minutes, ensuring agency is responding to inquiries and setting up office routines that will allow for smooth operations.
- Running reports and pulling data for presentation
- Attend meetings as necessary
- Ensuring that office is covered during working hours
- Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the supervisor or agency
