As one of the first 5 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) established in the nation, its roots are steeped in service to those who face barriers to health and health care, meeting their need for comprehensive medical, dentistry, behavioral health, and community services. Starting in northeast Rochester, NY, Jordan Health has since expanded to become a network of primary care offices and health centers serving residents living in three quadrants of Rochester, NY and in Canandaigua, N.Y.

Jordan Health is now seeking a Dentist who, under the guidance of the Chief Dental Officer, is primarily responsible for administering the highest quality of dental care to Jordan Health patients. The Dentist will restore and maintain dental health by diagnosing and treating, operating on, or prescribing for any disease, pain, injury, deformity or physical condition on the hard and soft tissues of the oral or maxillofacial regions, and also improve function and appearance.

Requirements

The Dentist will ensure that :

• High quality dental procedures are delivered to Jordan Health’s patients.
• Direct patient care is provided, ensuring quality provision of care and a patient-friendly clinical service system that is responsive to the needs of all patients.
• Fiscal responsibility in meeting financial targets is demonstrated.
