DEPLOYMENT TECHNICIAN

ROLE SUMMARY

Deployment Technicians should possess a robust technical background, superior communication skills, and demonstrated effectiveness in working with end-users. Additionally, they must adhere rigorously to technical processes, including runbooks. Experience within a law firm environment is highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Work closely with IT staff, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.

2) Adhere to established technical processes and procedures, including the use of runbooks, during deployments and troubleshooting.

3) Pre-provision devices with Microsoft Autopilot.

4) Deploy and setup user configuration on Windows 11 devices.

1) Enroll mobile devices (iOS and / or Android) with Microsoft Intune.

5) Provide technical support and guidance to end-users throughout the deployment process.

6) Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the migration and upgrades.

7) Document deployment procedures and best practices.

8) Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure a smooth and efficient deployment.

9) Provide feedback to help improve the technical deployment processes.

10) Manage and track device inventory.

11) Travel to various office locations within the specified region as required.

12) Perform other duties as assigned by the Client.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

1) Experience with Windows 10, Windows 11, iOS, and Android Operating Systems.

2) Solid understanding of Active Directory users and objects.

3) Proficiency in Intune deployment and management.

4) Experience with the Microsoft Intune mobile device management (MDM) solution.

5) Familiarity with imaging and deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT, Autopilot).

6) Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.

7) Networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP).

8) Experience with PowerShell scripting is a plus.

9) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

10) Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

11) Patient and empathetic approach to end-user support.

12) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

13) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

14) Excellent time management and organizational skills.

15) Professional and courteous demeanor.

16) Demonstrated ability to follow technical processes and procedures, including runbooks.

OTHER DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

1) Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator).

2) Experience working in a law firm or legal environment is desirable.

3) Familiarity with legal applications and software is preferred.

4) Understanding of the specific IT needs and challenges of law firms.
