The Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Institute offers a full range of dermatologic, reconstructive and aesthetic services. Our physicians and staff are dedicated to continuously improving the quality of these medical and surgical procedures, creating new standards of innovation and adding value to the patient care experience. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online / in-person courses to enhance your skills.

A caregiver in this position works days from 6 : 30AM - 5 : 00PM or 7 : 00AM - 5 : 30PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will :

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and / or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
