Dermatology nurse practitioner Jobs in New York, NY

We a Full-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for our Brooklyn, NY office (20 min away from Manhattan)

Responsibilities include :

• Examining, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of skin conditions, ranging from acute to chronic and benign to malignant.
• Documenting and reviewing patients' histories and documenting them in the EMR system.
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and educate patient / family.
• Prescribing and administering antibiotics, antiseptics or compresses to treat injuries or infections.
• Participates in daily operations of practice
• Work with the doctor, clinician and administrative team
• Position  is  for  Medical Dermatology,    not  Cosmetic Dermatology

Requirements :

• Must be licensed in NY
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred in Dermatology
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
• Seeking a provider with minimum two years of Medical Dermatology with experience - eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, skin cancer, acne and skin biopsies. Steady and full-time position. We will train clinicians in dermatology.
