Posting Name : Systems Design Manager

Schedule : M - T, 9 hours and Friday, 4 hours

Our Systems Design is an integral piece of our work on a daily basis. Some of your daily functions will include :

• Responsible of the hiring, onboarding, training, and performance improvement of the system engineering group members.
• Meets daily with systems leads to identify roadblocks and remove barriers. Escalates unresolved issues to the Ship Design Manager.
• Monitors and controls design contractual commitments to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and terms of the contract.
• Partners with Weight Manager to monitor and control the weight of the systems to meet design targets.
• Partners with Systems Integration Manager to ensure compatibility between systems.
• Approver of Engineering Change Notifications to formally release design data.
• Ensures Engineering Change Requests are implemented into the design while maintaining compliance to the contractual requirements.
• Lead the system design and defining all mission system requirements through the design phase and navigate the solution through to production and implementation.
• System life-cycle activities - including System Requirements Review (SRR), System Design Review (SDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Detailed / Critical Design Review (DDR / CDR).

If you have at least 10 years' experience of systems and electrical engineering, possess a High School Diploma or GED and fundamental knowledge in marine or manufacturing industry, we want to talk to you!
