Job Title : Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for creating, detailing, developing, and modifying models for the heavy-duty industrial conveyor market. You will prepare drawings and technical documents for conveyor fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop 3D models (parts and assemblies) using CAD software.
- Detail drawings of basic 3D models (parts and assemblies) using industry-standard notations for machining notes and weld symbols.
- Perform basic engineering calculations for components in shear, bending, and torsion.
- Learn the various processes of the Project Engineering team and seek out ways to improve these processes.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers and Project Engineers in developing concepts and solving design issues.
- Become familiar with various manufacturing methods within the industry.
- Demonstrate increasing proficiency in the use of 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Fulfill any other tasks assigned by the business.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00 / hr.
