Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Agent at Fairfield by Marriott Indianapolis Carmel, you are the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a welcoming and seamless guest experience.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional service through check-in/check-out processes, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring that all guests have a comfortable and memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and professionally.

• Check-in and check-out guests efficiently using the hotel’s property management system (PMS).

• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest requests and concerns with a focus on guest satisfaction.

• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.

• Maintain accurate guest records and process payments accurately.

• Address and resolve guest complaints or escalate them to the appropriate department as needed.

• Follow Marriott brand standards and ensure front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

• Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest needs.

• Uphold confidentiality and security of guest information and hotel operations.

• Flexible availability including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.

• Prior front desk or hotel experience a plus, but not required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with computers and basic office software; experience with PMS systems (e.g., Opera, FOSSE) is a plus.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.

• A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
