AP Professionals is collaborating with a local, growing technology company in search of a Desktop Deployment Engineer. This company has comprehensive benefits as well as bonus opportunities!

Responsibilities

Install and configure applications, hardware, and software for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals, and network equipment.
Understand client requirements and implement solutions that surpass customer expectations.
Follow established processes, checklists, and project plans to ensure smooth deployment.
Ensure timely completion of tasks to meet project deadlines.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by exceeding expectations during deployment.
Continuously seek opportunities to reduce inefficiencies and variability in deployment or supply chain processes.

Experience

At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a technical support or help desk role.

Experience with help desk ticketing platforms and remote support software.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Solid grasp of IT fundamentals and network infrastructure systems.

Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving common hardware and software problems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical users.

Customer-centric attitude, committed to delivering outstanding service.

Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Basic familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and macOS, along with standard productivity tools.

Thorough understanding of the tools, equipment, and supplies needed to meet customer requirements.

Perform setup and installation of desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals, and networking hardware.

Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on streamlining processes and improving efficiency.

Ability to blend technical expertise with a strong understanding of business operations.

Able to work autonomously and think creatively to deliver solutions.

IT certifications like CompTIA A+ or similar are an advantage.
