Job descriptionManage service delivery and website / systems reliability and scalability Oversee efficient delivery of all aspects of deployment and technical operations Knowledge of standard methodologies and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service. Skilled in implementing and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI / CD pipelines for code deployments. Experience and familiarity with Nginx, ElasticSearch, SQL DBs and Redis configuration and optimization. Fundamental understanding of load-balanced and highly available infrastructure systems. Proficient in automation using Python, or shell scripts. Identify opportunities for improvement and potential areas of expansion of Comodo's services Oversee and report on performance of service delivery team(s) Provide quality service and performance with a focus on user satisfaction and cost management Forecast and report monthly internally and to client / stakeholders Provide leadership and guidance to service delivery team(s) Be accountable for all deliverables and prioritize activities for client Ensure communication and teamwork of service delivery team(s) Provide an outstanding product to contribute to excellence in service to our nation's veterans Provide oversite and management of reporting, configuration, build, testing, planning, and deployment of solutions Effectively manage all stakeholders, scheduling, risk management, internal and external communications, status reporting, and resource management Ensure each stakeholder receives services according to their contracted service levels Develop and support automated, scalable solutions to deploy and manage our global infrastructure. We're looking for a Director of DevOps to build and oversee the Infrastructure of our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring standards for operational performance in the areas of security, availability, productivity, capacity, scalability and efficiency by developing various infrastructure services to support our growing platform and backend operations. Some projects might include adding to and improving automation, monitoring, infrastructure design, and security, as well as migration activities from one datacenter to another. You will also participate in regular software releases and work closely with colleagues in other technical and business disciplines. This role will work closely with other departments such as Support, Customer Success Management and Sales to ensure a high availability on production systems and will maintain the communication throughout the organization on this availability.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in managing application development, software delivery lifecycle, and / or infrastructure development and administration
- 5+ years of design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and / or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
- 5+ experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, SVN, Git or similar tools
- 5+ years of experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and release of software
- 3+ years of experience in automation scripting using one or more of the following languages : Perl, Ruby, Bash, or Python
- A Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of total work experience
