Diesel Mechanic Details :
Direct Hire position
to $ / hour
Full Time work available
Various shifts available (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
Basic knowledge of repairing or replacing all structural, body and mechanical parts of a heavy-duty diesel truck.
Must be proficient with brakes, drivelines, and mechanical engine components on tractors.
Strong electrical experience with the ability to diagnose and repair.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, ability to identify major components and repairing or replacing mechanical parts of a trailer.
Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
Will be required to travel to customer job sites for repair / maintenance of customer owned Fleet equipment.
Must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.
Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.
Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety customer equipment.
Maintain paperwork / electronic documentation of work performed in a complete and timely manner.
Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements.
The associate must be able to regularly lift and / or move up to 50lbs, occasionally 100lbs.
Diesel Mechanic Qualifications :
High school or equivalent (Preferred).
Heavy duty Certifications are a years of heavy-duty equipment experience (Minimum).
CDL class A / B Driver's License (Preferred).
Clean driving record.
Must have own tools.
