Job Description
Principal Accountabilities :
- Coordinates patient's meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
- Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
- Assists with meal selections while taking into consideration cultural and / or religious preferences.
- Monitors patient meal tickets. This includes reviewing and modifying as needed to comply with prescribed diet order.
- Processes new diets, changes, tube feedings and NPO orders efficiently while keeping accurate records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
