Job Description

Principal Accountabilities :

• Coordinates patient's meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
• Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
• Assists with meal selections while taking into consideration cultural and / or religious preferences.
• Monitors patient meal tickets. This includes reviewing and modifying as needed to comply with prescribed diet order.
• Processes new diets, changes, tube feedings and NPO orders efficiently while keeping accurate records.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
