Under the direct supervision of the WIC Program Director, the Supervising Registered Dietitian is responsible for the overall program operations, Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program, and other special projects.
Compensation : $80,758- $96,600, depending on years of experience

Responsibilities :
- Assists with the management and evaluation of personnel and staffing issues, including direct supervision of all WIC staff.
- Coordinates food instrument security, shipments, and reports.
- Responsible for maintaining and completing time sheets.
- Responsible for appointment and class scheduling.
- Responsible for WIC WISE (Web Information System Exchange) and computer equipment maintenance and safety in coordination with the IT Department.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining caseload, outreach, and coordination with other programs / agencies to promote services.
- Responsible for the Nutrition Services Plan and High-Risk Criteria Program.
- Oversees the implementation of the Nutrition component of the WIC Program, including nutrition assessments and subsequent education / counseling of pregnant, lactating, postpartum women; infants, and children to 5 years of age. Provides direct service to clients (certification, assessment, counseling, education) as needed and handle hi-risk cases.
- Oversees special projects including breastfeeding, immunizations, etc., and will protect, promote, and support breastfeeding in a manner that is consistent with WIC regulations, policies, and initiatives.
- Performs other duties assigned by the Project Director.
- Responsible for the supervision of WIC Nutrition Assistant (WNA) certification for new WNAs.
- Supervise office flow and staffing issues for site assigned.
