Registered Dietitian – Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care (16-24 Hours / Week, 50% Remote)

Location : Houston, TX

Job Type : Part-Time (16-24 hours per week)

Compensation : $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a registered dietitian to provide clinical nutrition services in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. This position offers a flexible schedule with 16-24 hours per week and the ability to work 50% remotely , providing both onsite and telehealth-based nutrition care.

Responsibilities :

Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
Monitor residents’ nutritional status and adjust interventions as needed
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to improve patient outcomes
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including MDS documentation
Provide education to staff and residents on nutrition-related topics

Qualifications :

Registered dietitian (RD) credential required

Licensed in TX or ability to obtain licensure if required

Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nutrition preferred

Strong documentation and communication skills

Comfortable using telehealth platforms for remote consultations
