Job descriptionAnalyze operating statements, cash flow reports, and budget variances; recommend corrective actions as needed. Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes. Prepare and present financial and operational performance reports to senior leadership and investors. Oversee asset-level financial compliance with loan covenants, investor agreements, and regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations, including HUD, HCD, and LIHTC requirements. Maintain accurate records for audits, lender reviews, and investor reporting. Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to address findings and implement risk mitigation measures. Develop and execute asset management strategies to enhance property value and long-term sustainability. Support property dispositions, refinancing, and acquisition due diligence by providing financial and operational analysis. Participate in planning and oversight of capital improvement projects. Partner cross-functionally with finance, development, and operations teams to ensure portfolio alignment with organizational goals. Mentor junior team members, promoting professional growth and strong analytical and reporting skills. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in asset management, property management, or related affordable housing experience. Strong understanding of affordable housing regulations and financing, including LIHTC and HUD programs. Experience managing Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) properties preferred. Proficiency with property management and financial analysis systems such as Yardi, MRI, or RealPage. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. $110,000 - $120,000

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical ability with hands-on property oversight experience and a passion for mission-driven real estate.
