COMPENSATION :

20 - $25 / Hourly
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Media Specialist is an extremely talented individual who is passionate about storytelling through visual media. This role involves capturing high-quality footage, editing video content, and producing engaging final products that align with our brand's vision and objectives. You’ll work closely with the Program Executive Director to film events, programs, promotional materials, and social media content, bringing creative concepts to life and ensuring our visual storytelling reflects the organization’s goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Collaborate with the Program team to conceptualize and plan video projects from inception to completion.
- Operate cameras and other equipment to capture high-quality video content in various settings.
- Edit raw footage using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Canva, and Final Cut Pro to create polished final products.
- Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, and other post-production techniques to enhance video quality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
QUALIFICATIONS :
This position and its pay are dependent on the availability of funds and continuation of the contracted program. The current contract provides programming for June 2024 - July 2025 with the likely possibility of extension for an additional two years (until July 2027).
