Process Improvement techniques are used to provide sustained improvement to critical business processes.
Works with Senior Management and Kaizen Team Leaders to identify areas of improvement, create projects, gather resources to work on continuous improvement projects.
Manages and tracks progress of projects to support company’s short and long-range objectives.
Consults with Management regarding people performance issues and helps team leaders develop skills in performance standards and metrics.
Continuously improves company’s capabilities to achieve process quality, as part of project execution, including an awareness and communication for the need to “do it right the first time”.
Drives culture to instill focus on the use of TPS Principles and problem-solving methodologies & leads the workforce in the implementation & execution of the 14 Toyota Way principles.
Supports Kaizen teams in process quality and continuous improvement activities.
Assists in creation of performance metrics, reporting and improvement targets for all business units within the organization.
Increases standardization of work processes, through time studies and other methods.
Identifies and eliminates cost of poor-quality processes.
Assists in the reduction or elimination of non-value-added work and increased prevention of errors / defects.
Helps implement smooth, speedy, and efficient workflow processes in all production areas.
Responsible for development and implementation of process and performance improvement training for each product group and Kaizen team.

Minimum 2 years managerial experience.
Computer knowledge including Excel, Windows, Word.
Education : Four yr. degree preferred or 5 yrs related manufacturing experience.
Training : ISO 9001 : 2000 Quality Standard, Procedures & Work Instructions.
Performance goals and objectives, TheToyota Way 14 Principles, Kaizen teams / projects.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
Visual Acuity : Accommodation as required for reading computer screens and documents.
Working conditions : Exposure to shop elements including dust, noise, fumes and odors.
