The role youll contribute :

Provides supervision for the daily functions and activities within environmental services department. Is responsible for supervising EVS staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met for the hospital and adjacent facilities. Promotes teamwork to ensure work is completed timely and helps maintain an efficient and safe working environment. Assumes responsibility of day, evening or night shift operation of the EVS department and related responsibilities.

May supervise all staff by assigning work, training, hiring evaluation performance, progressive discipline and recommending termination as is appropriate create and review schedules

Approves scheduling requests

Documents all work that has been performed such as Safety Data Sheets

Regularly surveys departmental procedures for adherence to acceptable cleaning practices

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed :

High School Education or equivalent years of experience

Two years of technical experience
