Job description

MAU is hiring a Finance Director for GF Casting Solutions in Augusta, GA. As a Finance Director, you will manage financial planning, cost control, inventory, compliance, and reporting while providing strategic insights to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information :

  • Monday to Friday | 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

    • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in finance roles within the manufacturing sector, with a proven track record in financial leadership

    • General Requirements :

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory accounting requirements, US-GAAP, and financial and local tax reporting best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for transforming complex data into actionable insights
  • Proficient with ERP systems (SAP experience highly desirable) and data analytics tools tailored to manufacturing
  • Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing collaboration within teams

    • Essential Functions :

  • Lead financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for manufacturing operations
  • Oversee capital expenditure, cash flow, and financing, ensuring alignment with Treasury and Divisional Controlling
  • Monitor manufacturing costs, identify trends, and implement cost-control measures
  • Provide financial insights to drive decision-making and improve profitability
  • Oversee inventory valuation and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Collaborate with local management to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain company accounts, sub-legers, and internal control systems
  • Ensure compliance with local and US government regulations, including tax accounting
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors and prepare the required reports

    • Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based with extended periods of sitting for desk work. Occasional standing, walking, or movement within a manufacturing environment may include exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and fluctuating temperatures.
