We are a standalone Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation community in the Charlotte market seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to serve as our next Director of Nursing (DON).
This opportunity is ideal for a clinically strong, culture-focused nursing leader who believes exceptional care and exceptional hospitality should exist together. We are building a team that delivers high-quality outcomes while creating an environment that feels warm, responsive, and genuinely resident-centered.
We are not looking for someone who simply manages schedules and surveys. We are looking for a visible leader who builds trust with staff, mentors nurses, supports families, and sets the tone for clinical excellence throughout the building.
Standalone facility with local leadership and autonomy

Lead all nursing operations for the facility
Drive clinical quality measures and regulatory compliance
Maintain survey readiness and infection prevention standards
Mentor, coach, and develop nursing leadership and floor staff
Partner closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team
Improve staff retention, engagement, and accountability
Ensure exceptional resident and family communication
Support admissions, clinical systems, and care coordination
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Prior Director of Nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, surveys, QA, and reimbursement systems
Proven ability to lead teams, improve culture, and drive accountability
Hands-on leadership style with strong clinical judgment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for resident-centered care and hospitality-driven service
