Salary: $100,000-140,000 annual + Bonus Eligibility
Position Summary
The Director of Revenue Management (DRM) is responsible for leading Tandem Hospitality Group's revenue strategy across the portfolio, driving top-line performance through data-driven decision making, disciplined execution, and cross-functional alignment. This role directly influences pricing, inventory, distribution, and forecasting strategies to maximize RevPAR, market share (RGI), and overall profitability. The DRM partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure strategies are aligned with business goals and executed consistently across all properties. This is a strategic leadership role focused on delivering measurable resultsnot just reporting performance.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Performance
Develop and execute revenue strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and market share (MPI, ARI, RGI)
Lead pricing strategy across all segments (transient, group, and catering)
Analyze STR, Demand360, and internal data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Optimize channel mix and distribution strategy to drive profitable revenue
Identify and act on displacement analysis and compression opportunities
Forecasting & Financial Discipline
Own the revenue forecasting process (daily, weekly, and rolling forecasts)
Ensure forecasts are accurate, forward-looking, and actionable
Establish forecasting standards, cadence, and accountability across properties
Partner with Finance and Operations to align forecasts with budgeting and business planning
Systems & Infrastructure
Drive effective use and optimization of RMS, PMS, CRS, and distribution platforms
Evaluate and implement revenue tools (e.g., Duetto, Lighthouse, OTA platforms)
Ensure system configuration aligns with pricing, inventory, and channel strategy
Audit property-level system setups for consistency and compliance
Leadership & Accountability
Lead weekly revenue strategy calls focused on action and performance
Provide clear direction to GMs, DOS, and property leaders
Hold teams accountable for the execution of pricing and distribution strategies
Escalate performance issues and partner with leadership on corrective action
Commercial Collaboration
Partner with Sales to align group strategy with transient demand and optimize mix
Collaborate with Marketing on promotions, digital strategy, and demand generation
Ensure OTA strategy and visibility tactics align with revenue goals
Support hotel openings, transitions, and repositioning strategies
Process & Standardization
Build and implement revenue management SOPs and best practices
Standardize reporting, dashboards, and KPIs across the portfolio
Drive consistency, discipline, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
58+ years of revenue management experience in hospitality
Multi-property or portfolio-level experience strongly preferred
Proven track record of driving RGI growth and revenue performance
Strong knowledge of RMS, PMS, CRS, and distribution platforms
Experience with STR reports, Demand360, and forecasting tools
Strong financial acumen and analytical capability
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based with regular interaction with property teams and leadership. The position may involve:
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer
- Occasional travel to hotel properties
- Participation in meetings, strategy sessions, and operational reviews

Salary Range: $100,000-140,000 annual
