Duties: Job Summary: The role of the Sterile Processing Tech is to perform technical duties necessary for the decontamination, processing, sterilization and distribution of supplies and equipment for the entire hospital according to established hospital protocol, policies, procedures and central sterile standards for all patient populations served within a team environment using strong attention to detail, strong organizational & prioritization skills, effective communications, critical thinking, and basic computer skills. The Sterile Processing Tech will also complete quarterly competencies. null Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -Two (2) years Sterile Processing experience Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A null Education: Required Education: -High School Diploma or GED Preferred Education: -N/A Required Certifications & Licensure: -Certified Registered Central Service Technician CRCST or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician CSPDT. Must obtain certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A null Certifications & Licenses: Certified Registered Central Service Technician Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician Schedule Notes: Shift: 830a-8p; must work Fridays Required: 2 years experience, One of: Certified Registered Central Service Technician CRCST OR Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician CSPDT.
