SUMMARY : The Director of Training and Customer Service is tasked with coordinating training and education content for all employees of Scooter’s Coffee to ensure that the mission, principles, and Scooter's touchstones are carried out, embraced, and modeled. This position supports the district and store managers in all aspects of training. They will help store managers with voids in training within each store in order to create knowledgable teams working toward the best possible experience for the customer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Become trained as a barista and be up to date with barista skills
- In Store Training
Promotional rollout - train and quiz within stores for competency on monthly promotions (featured drinks, signage correct in menu, new procedures, etc….)
Observe stations, look for opportunities to increase efficiency
Develop and keep updated curriculum for Head Barista Certification
Monthly check-ins with stores to keep updated list of who is responsible for training within each store
