Position Purpose

This position oversees evaluation, implementation and lifecycle management of medical devices, equipment, and associated technology for purposes of diagnosis, monitoring, and therapeutic support throughout Renown Health. The incumbent is charged with delivering innovative, effective, and highly available technologies to enable the highest levels of patient care for the organization.

Furthermore, the incumbent will :

• Exhibit a Servant Leadership mentality and maintain quality metrics and benchmarks for internal and external customers.
• Develop and implement standards, best practices and policies / procedures for the Department, Division and System relating to Medical Equipment and Clinical Technology lifecycle management.

Education :

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Business or Finance from an accredited college.

Experience :

Broad, extensive, and progressively responsible directly related work experience in administrative and / or managerial positions and a minimum of 10 years of Clinical Engineering experience.

License(s) :

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State of Nevada driver's license and ability to pass Renown Health's Department of Motor Vehicle Report criteria.

Certification(s) : None

Computer / Typing :

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
