Position Overview :
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the property, ensuring the highest level of quality, service, and profitability. This role will lead the culinary and service teams, drive revenue growth, and maintain excellence in guest satisfaction while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, in-room dining, and catering services.
- Provide leadership and direction to culinary, bar, and service teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Managers to develop and execute menus, promotions, and special events that align with brand standards and guest preferences.
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless service and consistency in quality.
- Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain cost controls for labor, food, and beverage, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Implement innovative technology and best practices to enhance service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial goals for food and beverage operations.
- Analyze sales, costs, and profitability metrics to optimize revenue and control expenses.
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through pricing strategies, menu engineering, and upselling techniques.
- Work with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns that drive traffic and sales.
- Ensure exceptional guest service by training staff, setting high expectations, and addressing guest feedback promptly.
- Maintain and enhance the property’s reputation through quality service, food presentation, and ambiance.
- Ensure all food and beverage offerings align with Sentral Hospitality Management’s brand standards and guest expectations.
- Recruit, train, and develop food and beverage team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and implement development plans for key team members.
- Promote employee engagement, motivation, and retention through recognition programs and leadership initiatives.
