Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time / Director of Information Technology to join the Information Technology team in the Lee County area. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, can multi-task, and think outside of the box. As the Director of Information Technology , you will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at all locations. This responsibility includes directing all IT operations to meet end user and organizational requirements. The Director of Information Technology oversees the support and maintenance of existing applications, infrastructure and new lines of business. This position Manages IT projects and assists in the implementation of new technical solutions. This position reports to the Chief Information and Innovations Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following . Other duties may be assigned.

• Provides general management of the IT infrastructure, hardware, network, provisioning, planning, installation, and operation
• Assists the CIO and / or Manager of Innovation Services in providing overall IT governance for the organization
• Plans, implements, and monitors changes in infrastructure, hardware, software, and support configurations
• Establishes and measures IT performance relative to cost, value creation and customer satisfaction in the key areas of operating systems, telecommunications, network management, ancillary systems, multi-business unit specific applications and desktop support
• In coordination with the CIO and / or Manager of Innovation Services, leads and coordinates selection, installation, operation, support, and maintenance of information technology infrastructure (i.e. operating systems, networks, telecommunications, hardware, and peripherals)
• Works in conjunction with the IT Security Officer to protect the company and its operations against IT risks, including unauthorized access to information, data integrity issues, loss of business continuity and substandard service levels
• Manages service desk for tickets assigned to the queue and ensures process of first-in, first-out based on priority
• Translates business needs into system solutions making maximum use of available tools while ensuring longer term supportability of the architecture
• Manages system hardware, operating systems, software, and procedures that adhere to company standards, values and goals
• Works with team to leverage existing and new technologies to improve customer services
• Communicates regularly and consults with the CIO and / or Manager of Innovation Services on information technology issues and opportunities
• Manages IT staff, which includes hiring, training, guidance, coaching, and discipline
• Develops best practices and written documentation for all IT maintenance and processes
• Sets office automation standards within the company and oversees acquisition, deployment, and support of office support systems
• Manages hardware, software, and infrastructure vendor relationships in collaboration with the CIO and / or Manager of Innovation Services
• Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards / procedures for implementing technical solutions.
• Directs and prioritizes the work load of subordinate personnel
• Participates on all hardware / software evaluations and maintains vendor contracts.
• In conjunction with the CIO and / or Manager of Innovation Services, performs salary administration and conducts interviews. Makes recommendations for new hires, consultants, IT position changes and / or replacement personnel
• Oversees IT project portfolio, including managing all aspects of project life cycle
• In conjunction with the CIO and / or Manager of Innovation Services, ensures all organizational strategic initiatives are considered
• Other duties, as assigned

Required Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or related experience required.

Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
