Position Overview
The Vice President of Technology Operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our technology infrastructure, including but not limited to IT operations, network management, security, and technology strategy development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of implementing and managing complex technology systems. This position will report to the Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the technology department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all systems
- Manage and lead a team of technology professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support as needed
- Establish and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and partners
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that could improve efficiency and productivity
- Ensure the security of all technology systems and data, implementing appropriate measures to protect against cyber threats and breaches
- Develop and manage the technology department budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in technology, and assess their potential impact on the company
