Team D3 is seeking a Director of Sales - Manufacturing
Job Summary : The Senior Director of Sales is responsible for leading and managing the sales strategy, team performance, and overall revenue growth for our manufacturing software solutions. This role focuses on defining and managing the execution of sales strategies, driving new business, leading sales teams, and building strong relationships with software vendors and clients in the manufacturing sector.
Essential Functions :
- Sales Strategy : Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals within the manufacturing sector
- Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing direction, setting targets and holding them to account, ensuring they meet individual and team quotas
- Team Development : Build and nurture a high-performing sales organization, providing coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure professional growth and team success
- Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Vendor Management : Collaborate with software vendors and partners to optimize solutions, pricing, and training opportunities
- Forecasting & Reporting : Provide accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on sales activities, performance, and market trends to senior leadership
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, product development, and support teams to ensure customer needs are met and software solutions are aligned with market demands
- Market Analysis : Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine sales tactics and product positioning
- Perform additional duties as requested or assigned
