Chuck Latham Associates, IncParker, CO, USAH&C Animal Health is hiring for a Vice President of Sales. This position will be responsible for developing, leading and executing the sales strategies across all channels to drive revenue growth and market share of H&C Animal Health’s owned and distributed brands in accordance with the Company’s strategic initiatives. The focus will be developing and implementing innovative sales initiatives to achieve sales targets, expand the customer base, and enhance brand visibility. This position requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in CPG sales management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, including channel strategies, to achieve revenue targets and market share goals, including the use of broker and distributor partners.
- Develop strategies and execute sales plans across all channels, including pet specialty, FDM+, and veterinarian channels.
- Partner with the Innovation Team to identify whitespace opportunities and provide retailer insights and channel strategies as part of the product development process.
- Responsible for annual and ongoing sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales strategies with the overall strategic priorities of the company.
- In leading the relationship with broker teams, develop the strategy, selling story, and core retailer presentations and attend most larger retailer presentations.
- Develop the sales strategy and KPIs for trade shows and attend all shows.
- Set clear performance expectations representative of a high-performance culture aligning with organization goals and objectives, and provide regular feedback to the team and broker.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with key customers, retailers, distributors and strategic partners.
- Identity and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships and collaborations to expand market presence, increase market share and drive revenue growth in all channels as well as developing and executing plans to increase product presence in veterinary clinics.
- Stay informed on relevant industry, competitor and market activities and trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, new product innovation and operations teams to ensure alignment across departments.
- Develop and manage the sales and trade budgets, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve sales targets while maintaining profitability.
