About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director of Project Management with a focus on Material Handling and Warehouse Automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of project managers and various other key personnel, managing the full project lifecycle from installation to customer service, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget. This role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior capacity overseeing the installation and commissioning of large-scale automation projects, particularly in the areas of automated material handling systems, warehouse automation, and 3PL. The Director will also be tasked with conducting risk management activities, coordinating internal and external resources, and maintaining strong relationships with both vendors and clients. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The role involves a significant amount of travel, ranging from 40% to 70%. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering a collaborative team environment, leading various project-related meetings, and effectively communicating project progress, risks, and profitability to stakeholders, including senior management. A commitment to excellence, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to cultivate innovation and continuous improvement are essential for this position.
