Collaborate with the sales and production teams to forecast material requirements and adjust procurement plans accordingly. Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock situations. Implement inventory control measures and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline the receipt and storage of materials. Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve budget goals. Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring they align with company policies and budget constraints. Work closely with the operations, sales, and finance teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials and information. Provide support in resolving any supply chain issues and addressing discrepancies in material availability. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance to senior management. Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in the purchasing process. Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role (experience in the fencing materials industry is a must) Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in inventory management systems and procurement software. Solid knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
