Maintenance Director

We are currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Director within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. Requirements:

1. Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, building codes, safety regulations and blueprint interpretations, generators and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
2. Experience in a supervisory capacity
3. Must be at least 18 years of age
4. Completion of elementary education, able to read, write, and follow oral and written instruction
5. Must pass background and drug screen
6. Excellent communication skills in dealing with residents, sponsors, visitors, and staff
7. Positive attitude towards the elderly

Essential Job Functions

1. Plan, develop and direct the Maintenance Department, as well as assist in the recruitment, interviewing, selection, discipline and discharge of maintenance personnel. Forecast needs for the department and maintain a level of maintenance supplies.
