The Moore Center has a new opportunity for a Director of Quality and Compliance to lead our efforts to ensure conformity to and compliance with relevant federal state and local regulations laws and contracts. Oversee process of developing a comprehensive compliance and risk management plan. Interpret new regulations to provide clarity for leadership staff and client representatives. Additionally review and update all policies as well as develop new policies and procedures in relation to compliance and risk management. Also responsible for distribution posting and training of new policies.
You will :
Essential Responsibilities :
Review state federal and local regulations applicable laws contracts and waivers to determine comprehensive plan to ensure all requirements are being met
Supervise compliance and quality coordinator roles providing support direction and clarity of function to each
Develop risk management strategies
Analyze internal operational process and procedures to ensure best practices for operating within legal and ethical guidelines and compliance with industry regulations
Design ongoing training programs for staff
Run internal audits to check for adherence with external policies
Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies
Advise Senior Leadership Team (SLT)on business operations relating to investment risks and any other policy development
Design methods for reporting and dealing with compliance breaches and ethical issues
Review and update policies and procedures
Maintain Agency s Policy Manual
Oversee Agency investigations to breaches in protocols
Analyze data from compliance and quality efforts to determine training needs
Develop benchmarks and dashboards for regular review
Determine compliance metrics and establish a tracking system
Oversee regular audits of Agency s procedures practices and documents to identify potential risk
Build and maintain positive relationships with managers SLT and appropriate staff for the purpose of achieving and sustaining compliance program goals and objectives
Research feasibility of establishing an ethics committee; develop and oversee committee
Incorporate Lean principles to address efficiency while emphasizing data analysis and evidencebased procedural review
Teamwork attendance in the office as needed and when deemed safe per community health guidelines including facetoface interaction are essential job functions
Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree required (Master s degree preferred) in health care administration legal or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance in related field
- 3 5 years of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures for program services
- Working knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement and LEAN processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems spreadsheet and presentation software
- Valid driver s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours
