Our Newest Opportunity :
The Director, Strategic Partnerships, is pivotal in driving growth and enhancing client value through robust relationship management and strategic consulting with our partner firms. This role focuses on managing and expanding relationships with both record keepers and asset managers, ensuring compliance with standards, and leveraging available resources to exceed partnership targets. The ideal candidate will excel in B2B relationship management, possess a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and have a proven track record in business development and strategic initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to) :
Relationship Management & Sales :
Implement, enhance, and manage the Strategic Partnership Program for OneDigital Financial Services, overseeing relationships with Record Keepers and Investment Managers to drive key initiatives and achieve sales targets.
Champion OneDigital Financial Services in our industry, enhancing existing partnerships and identifying new opportunities for alignment and growth.
Understand OneDigital’s needs from key third-party firms and collaborate with partners to develop and implement solutions that address these needs.
Represent OneDigital on partner firm Advisory Boards, gaining industry insights and understanding market strategies of other firms.
Speak, moderate, and emcee various meetings and events hosted by OneDigital throughout the year.
Collaborate with the marketing and events team to plan and execute conferences where Strategic Partners will be present.
Manage and maintain a comprehensive partner repository and ecosystem, documenting key value-add resources and solutions for the OneDigital team.
Stay informed about industry news and trends, communicating relevant information to the team to support strategic decision-making.
Assist with ongoing projects in collaboration with team members, ensuring alignment with sales and partnership goals.
Follow all regulatory compliance review procedures to maintainhigh standards of service and trust.
Travel to industry conferences and conduct offsite visits for consulting or training purposes as required to support sales initiatives and strengthen relationship management efforts.
Support the growth of AMA with service providers and assist with the implementation of participant Managed Account services with various recordkeepers.
Home Office & Advisor Engagement :
Consult with advisors nationally to drive engagement, providing tailored support based on their needs from the key third-party firms they collaborate with.
Collaborate with the National VP of Retirement to drive engagement and support of key partners.
Work with the Chief Investment Office to provide resources and support from investment companies offering solutions relevant to the team’s needs.
Manage the vetting process for Strategic Partners, evaluating their capabilities in areas such as small market solutions, AMA, and data sharing.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in retirement planning and investment advisory services.
Proven track record of successfully managing and growing strategic partnerships and achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and / or annual bonus based on your individual performance and / or the company’s performance.
