Essential Functions :

• Knowledge of design, construction, and operation of electrical generators, including synchronous and asynchronous machines.
• Ability to diagnose and solve issues related to electrical faults, performance degradation, or unexpected shutdowns in generator systems.
• Being able to access complex electrical systems, identify weaknesses, and develop solutions.
• Determines all electrical aspects of the unit and develop electrical engineering drawings in 2D & 3D showing all necessary information to build.
• Ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders, from technicians to upper management. Clear communication skills for creating reports, technical manuals, and operating instructions.
• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detail phases of electrical engineering work in part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
• Consults with customers, project engineers, and internal colleagues on pending projects to assist in bringing them to closure.
• Assists Manager in the review and upgrading of the electrical standards.
• Deep knowledge of electrical safety regulations, including grounding techniques, arc flash protection, and proper PPE usage.
• Practical experience with installations, commissioning, and maintenance of generators systems in various environments.
