Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile and passionate Talent & Partnerships Director to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a jack of all trades with the ability to shift between talent, partnerships, and influencer work. This person will have proven experience in the delivery of end-to-end campaign management, from initial briefing stages, to brief responses and pitches, to identifying the right talent, through to execution and delivery. They will need to be creative and strategic in their approach and extremely organized with exceptional communication skills. The Talent & Partnerships Director will have the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once and anticipate and respond to client needs. In addition to campaigns, this person will oversee talent identification and relations for events and experiential activations. The position is based in Los Angeles and reports directly to the Head of Growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive culture-forward talent and partnerships-focused marketing strategies for active and prospective agency clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop briefs for content creation and oversee from concept to execution
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant talent and influencers and their teams
  • Lead and engage in research, proactively identifying up-and-coming talent and influencers
  • Provide talent and partnership recommendations and applicable rationale based on client and creative goals
  • Attend and provide specific T&P related input to all brainstorming sessions for assigned projects
  • Advise on talent fees, usage, creative direction and overall talent scope
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, reviewing and finalizing T&P slides in all presentations
  • Attend internal and external kick-off calls, leading conversations and providing guidance around any T&P deliverables
  • Source, pitch, and manage talent decks for internal creative teams and client review
  • Compose talent term sheets for client review
  • Collaborate with internal teams to structure SOWs, budgets, and contracts
  • Book, negotiate, and contract talent and influencers for applicable campaigns
  • Engage third party signatories for any SAG-AFTRA clients
  • Act as the liaison between internal creative teams and talent, by adequately relaying details relating to creative expectations, client feedback, shoot logistics, etc.
  • Lead pre-interviews and pre-pro calls with talent and internal teams
  • Oversee booking any and all talent travel, including flights, hotel accommodations and cars
  • Manage talent and representatives on-site for any video / photo shoots and events
  • Oversee talent social posts to ensure FTC compliance
  • Manage the processing of invoices and expenses relating to talent
  • Leverage data and analytics to deliver key business insights and meaningful recaps of program performance relative to campaign objectives to continuously highlight the value of our services

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or relevant area of study
  • 8+ years of experience in talent, partnerships, and / or influencer marketing
  • Agency experience is strongly preferred, must have the ability to work at a swift, agency pace and effectively prioritize needs and deliverables from multiple clients
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with Celebrity / A-List talent as a trusted partner
  • Proven track record leading and managing high-performing teams
  • Experience working with all major social platforms / software, social listening tools, and analytics / measurement tools
  • Expert knowledge of managing talent / influencer contracts, negotiations, and payments
  • Ever-evolving professional with a passion for culture, always staying up to date with the latest trends and talent
  • Robust network of existing relationships with digital influencers across platforms
  • Client-facing professional with a history of cultivating strong partner relationships
  • Strong presentation skills with proven experience pitching and winning new business
  • Experience building and managing project budgets and SOWs
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly master our agency software supporting internal communication, project management, expense reporting, time tracking, and analytics
