We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with strong expertise in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) to support critical operations within our retail infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing and managing recovery strategies that protect our store operations, distribution networks, and digital retail platforms from potential disruptions.
This role is essential to maintaining seamless customer experiences and minimizing downtime across all retail channels.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead DR and BCP initiatives across retail stores, warehouses, e-commerce, and corporate systems
Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses for critical retail operations
Collaborate with IT, logistics, store operations, and third-party vendors to implement effective recovery solutions
Develop, document, and maintain DR / BCP plans and processes tailored for retail environments
Facilitate regular simulation tests, plan reviews, and compliance audits
Ensure business continuity across physical stores and online platforms during incidents or outages
Report project status, risks, and updates to executive leadership
Required Qualifications :
5+ years of project management experience with a focus on DR / BCP
Strong understanding of retail operations, including supply chain, POS systems, and online platforms
Experience with cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, etc.) and their role in DR
Proficiency in managing cross-functional teams and working with both technical and business stakeholders
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Familiarity with compliance standards and DR frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST)
Preferred Qualifications :
Certifications such as PMP, CBCP, or ITIL
Experience in omnichannel retail or large-scale retail networks
Understanding of cybersecurity principles in retail DR planning
