Hire, train, and support drivers in safety practices and operational Collaborate with EHS and HR to enhance safety culture and manage MVRs and pull Ensure drivers are equipped with necessary tools and Use routing software to improve delivery efficiency and reduce Monitor performance, idle time, and geofence Partner with HR, Safety, and Operations on worker’s compensation claims and return-to-work Maintain open communication with branch managers and provide real-time delivery Promote company values of kindness and customer service among driving Manage schedules, attendance, and Conduct regular driver meetings and daily check- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, warehouse staff, management, and external partners. Problem-Solving Abilities : Quick-thinking and resourceful in addressing delivery issues, delays, or vehicle breakdowns in real time. Technical Proficiency : Skilled in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Attention to Detail : Ability to maintain accurate logs, documentation, and ensure compliance with delivery and safety protocols. Time Management : Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer Service Orientation : Professional demeanor with a focus on service quality, reliability, and client satisfaction. Ability to stand on two feet, walk, twist, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more a day). Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. Anything over 50 lbs. requires assistance. Ability to use both arms and hands fully for tasks such as reaching, feeling, grasping, gripping, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Overview : Dispatcher manages the daily operations of a fleet of 12+ vehicles operating throughout Southern California. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, complaint, and efficient transportation activities, overseeing fleet maintenance, supervising drivers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will lead fleet operations, optimize routing and scheduling, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence
