Overview Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Supervisor, Distribution Services provides leadership and management for the Supply Chain Services functions of Inventory Management, Receiving, Distribution, Patient Charges, Medical Equipment Inventory, and other related logistical functions. Responsible for supervising Distribution Services staff, which may cover all three shifts, seven days a week and managing the operations of any or all Material logistics functions. Responsibilities include accurate and timely processing of financial transactions for inventory, receiving, physical control of items, distribution, storeroom management, and continuous quality improvement. Ensures that customer service levels are high, safety is a priority, and the operations are in compliance with hospital policies and best business practices. Extensive interaction with all departments and other areas of Distribution Services and a shared responsibility for the data integrity of the Finance ERP system. Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 5+ years hospital supply experience including supervisory experience, Computer systems experience with inventory management. Education / Licensure / Certification : Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Science / Business / Nursing or equivalent experience & education. Pay Scale Information USD $55,120.00 - USD $99,340.80 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
