ASUCLA was created when the campus first opened in 1919. Even in the very early years ASUCLA meant student government student publications and student services such as a bookstore and cafeteria. Distribution Center Manager
Salary Range : $47500- 60000

Summary of Key Responsibilities :
Under direction of the Distribution Center Division Manager performs physical receiving storage deliveries and processing general merchandise text & trade fulfillment warehousing and mailroom services ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Processes paperwork and ensures appropriate record keeping. Performs opening / closing of the loading dock. Participates in physical inventories. Hires trains schedules evaluates and counsels staff in all activities. Assists in the processing / distribution of mail. Assists in other areas of the Division and performs special assignments. Hours may include evenings / weekends and overtime during peak periods.
Qualifications :
Requires 1 years management experience in a high volume automated receiving / distribution department preferably in a retail environment. Experience must demonstrate : effective handling of multiple priorities / deadlines; accuracy in calculating numbers; PC / data entry proficiency; effective interface with diverse groups / individuals; effective supervisory skills. Previous experience with NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning or similar with understanding of inventory controls systems. This position is included in the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) PULL NOTICE SYSTEM. ASUCLA will receive notices of any convictions for moving vehicle violations both on and off the job. Employment is contingent on the maintenance of a valid CA drivers license and good driving record as defined by the DMV and ASUCLA. BA / BS required or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Directly and indirectly supervises professional and part-time staff.
Physical Requirements :
Requires lifting of up to 70 lbs frequent walking standing bending stooping pushing pulling reaching gripping and climbing of ladders.
