Responsibilities
may include system planning, design specifications, maps and drawings, materials procurement, contract preparation, project management and project accounting (budgeting, estimating, forecasting). (70%)
Provide technical assistance with engineering studies and investigations and preparation of oral and written reports. (20%)
Provide engineering assistance to other departments and perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (10%)
Demonstration of knowledge and understanding of human performance improvement techniques. Evaluate present practices and implement processes, concepts, training and tools to prevent, detect and correct human errors that may adversely impact the safe, reliable operation of the electric transmission and distribution system.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
0-1 years of engineering experience for an Engineer I.
1-3 years of engineering experience for an Engineer II.
5+ years of engineering experience for an Sr Engineer.
Effective verbal and writtenmunication skills.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
