Position Overview : We are seeking a DISTRICT SALES MANAGER located in the Denver, CO area to highlight their technical sales talents within the WEST district ( Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and possibly Northern, CA) . Denver, CO is the ideal location for this position, but we're willing to consider candidates that live in any large city in the district, that is in close proximity to a major airport and willing to travel up to 100%. This position reports to the West Regional Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Metrology Equipment , is self-directed, has a resourceful spirit, and the focus required to deepen market share within the assigned region.
Responsibilities :
- Territory Management : Develop and execute sales plans for the assigned district, identify current key accounts while placing a strong emphasis on cultivating new customers within existing and emerging market segments.
- Customer Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers to understand their needs and offer the appropriate tailored solutions. Regular air travel (60% to 80% of the time, including overnights) within the district territory.
- Channel Partners : Support and educate the distribution network with ongoing technical assistance, quotes, new product updates, demonstrations, and promotions, to ensure they are prepared to successfully promote the Mahr brand.
- Product Knowledge : Stay in tune with industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to effectively position Mahr metrology equipment in the market.
- Forecasting : Daily utilization of Salesforce® CRM, create opportunities, events, tasks for all activities related to engagement and management of the district.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric outcome.
