Summary :

In this role, you will join our Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) Impact Spend team and lead our comprehensive supplier diversity programs across all our platforms, including our Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), corporate operations, and regional purchasing groups. You will foster an inclusive procurement ecosystem that supports diverse suppliers and small businesses and contribute to the economic growth of the communities we serve. As a member of the ESG Impact Spend team, the Director will integrate diversity and sustainability principles into the spend management and procurement process, contributing to socially responsible and environmentally sustainable supply chains for Vizient and providers. You will be instrumental in driving the company’s commitment to supply chain diversity, economic inclusion, and community impact.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for enhancing supplier diversity across all purchasing and sourcing channels, aligning with the company’s overall business and ESG goals.
• Lead the integration of supplier diversity principles in the sourcing processes of our GPO and regional purchasing groups and procurement processes of corporate entities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community-based organizations, advocacy groups, certification bodies, and suppliers (both diverse and non-diverse).
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the supplier diversity initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Plan and deliver events associated with diverse suppliers and small businesses, providing both internal and external visibility.
• Direct and deliver results associated with the supplier task forces, supplier diversity advisory council, and ESG executive council.
• Collaborate with internal teams and ESG executive council to ensure that diversity goals are understood and implemented across departments and business units.
• Engage in community and industry events to promote the company’s commitment to supplier diversity and to identify potential new suppliers.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the supplier diversity team, setting clear goals and metrics for performance assessment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier diversity program, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance outcomes.
• Actively participate in ESG strategy meetings, contributing to the development and implementation of initiatives that promote environmental sustainability and social responsibility within the supply chain.

Qualifications :

Estimated Hiring Range :

117,600.00 - $175,050.00
