Description : Job Overview
Donation Dock Associate is responsible for greeting donors and accepting their donations. The position is required to share the mission of the organization and share how the donations will be serving survivors of domestic violence. The position is responsible for accepting, sorting, pricing, and organizing merchandise.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Greet customers / donors in a friendly manner at all times.
- Accept and sort donated merchandise.
- Price merchandise.
- Respond effectively to changing demands.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
- Problem solver.
- Carry merchandise into the stores and stocking shelves.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and visually attractive store and processing areas.
- Work harmoniously with staff, volunteers, and community partners.
- Respond to phone or email messages.
- Requires working on Tuesday - Saturdays. Hours and days may be adjusted based on store needs.
- Ability / willingness to perform other positions within the donation center, boutique and thrift operation.
- Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
The work environment of this position is that of a warehouse with a normally high noise level. The warehouse and a portion of the store are not air-conditioned, so employee must be able to perform the essential functions of this job in both air-conditioned and un-air-conditioned spaces.
