In this role, you will : / ppJob Responsibilities : / pulliProvide loan review services and other consulting engagements with clients on credit related matters / liliPrepare detailed financial analysis, including cash flow models and collateral evaluations in order to identify potential credit risks / liliEvaluate whether commercial loan requests adhere to bank policies and procedures / liliAnalyze and conduct systematic loan reviews of business-related credits to ascertain adequacy of credit quality, loan documentation, credit administration, and compliance with established policies / liliWork on credit projects under a manager; however, you will often work autonomously on certain aspects / liliSupport many different types of financial institutions, over different geographies / liliLead segments of engagements that will help you develop leadership abilities, including building client relationships and business relationships with key executives / liliWrite and present clear and concise reports to provide meaningful recommendations to clients / li / ulpQualifications : / pulliBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent combination of education and experience / lili3+ years experience of working in financial institutions or regulatory supervisory institutions / liliGraduate degree or Professional certification a plus (i.e. RMA CRC) / li / ulpPreferred Knowledge and Skills : / pulliExperience in leveraged lending, capital call, subscription loans, venture lending, or Asset-Based Lending (ABL) is highly preferred, though not mandatory. / liliUnderwriting, lending, or regulatory experience - not a role for a consumer finance background / liliExperience with a variety of loan products and industries / liliWorking knowledge of SBA SOP is a plus / liliUnderstanding of credit processes, such as loan origination and underwriting; credit policies; portfolio management; allowance for loan and lease losses; loan review and remediation / liliThorough knowledge of federal and state banking laws related to credit risk / liliPrior experience with risk ratings, risk rating methodology, and allowance methodology would be a plus / liliStrong written and verbal communication and comprehension both formally and informally to our clients and our teams, in a variety of formats and settings, including in interviews, meetings, calls, e-mails, reports, process narratives, presentations, etc. / liliPrior experience should include progressive responsibilities, including supervising and reviewing the work of others, and project management, including self-management of simultaneous work-streams and responsibilities / liliA self-starter who can prioritize multiple tasks, be resourceful and able to research and find solutions / liliPassionate about learning, meeting goals, and helping a team succeed / liliWillingness to travel / li / ulpWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowes values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
