About Us :
At Salty Dawg Pet Salon + Bakery, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality grooming services for dogs of all breeds and sizes. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dog Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced, reliable, and passionate about working with dogs.
Key Responsibilities :
Bathing & Grooming Prep : Prep and bathe dogs efficiently and effectively, ensuring their coat is properly cleaned and conditioned.
Coat Evaluation : Assess different coat types (short, long, curly, etc.) and recommend appropriate products for each dogs grooming needs.
Nail Trims : Handle walk-in clients for nail trims, ensuring dogs are calm and safe during the process.
Collaboration : Assist groomers by preparing dogs for grooming appointments, including bathing, brushing out tangles and drying their coats.
Reliability & Teamwork : Be punctual, dependable, and work effectively within a team environment to provide a smooth workflow.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years' experience in dog bathing or grooming.
Strong ability to assess and work with different coat types, recommending appropriate grooming products.
Comfortable and confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
Ability to manage walk-in nail trims with a calm and patient demeanor.
Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality.
A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service.
Additional Skills :
Knowledge of different shampoos, conditioners, and grooming products.
Strong communication skills to interact with both dogs and clients.
Ability to follow instructions and stay organized.
