We are currently looking for a FULL TIME POSITION as well as a PART TIME Dog walker, and an OVERNIGHT Pet Sitter. We are an established and growing dog walking / pet sitting company in the South Bay (REDONDO, HERMOSA, MANHATTAN AND PARTS OF WEST TORRANCE). We are looking for an independent contractor who is available to do walks between 9am and 7pm, M-F, overnights in clients homes as well as some weekends and holidays. The position is for an established full time position and the part time will initially be part-time but eventually can become full time. Candidate must live in the South Bay. Pay is commission of revenues paid by clients.The ideal candidate needs to posses the following :

• Must be available M-F, 11-3, and for some weekends and overnights. No exceptions.
• Must live in the South Bay, no exceptions (Redondo, Hermosa , Manhattan Beach and Torrance)
• It is a must that you are at least 21 years old
• Must love and be good with dogs / cats and sometimes birds , must possess a passion for animals and commitment to consistently provide excellent service
• Must have worked for another dog walking / pet sitting company or are involved in rescue groups minimum ten (10) years experience with dogs and cats (this may include raising your own pets)
• Must be willing to clean up poop and a dog run / backyard
• Strong computer skills, proficient in writing and critical thinking skills, fast learner
• Must be willing to work outside and be very active. This is a very physical job so you must be in good physical shape - physically capable of walking 5-6 hrs. a day
• Must possess a passion for animals and commitment to consistently providing excellent service
• Be fully in control of any dog regardless of size and temperament.
• Have a strong work ethic, integrity and be professional
• Be organized and work well independently, and have the ability to problem solve on your own.
• Be reliable and show up on time for the scheduled visits
• Have good time management / people skills and common sense
• Be flexible in terms of scheduling
• Minimum 1 year commitment
• Have a pet friendly car and can transport dogs / cats
• Valid drivers license and insurance
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Must have a working cell phone (smart phone preferred), unlimited texting and internet access
