Dog walking Jobs in Washington, DC

Run and Play is currently looking for a seasoned weekday dog walker to handle our larger breeds in Takoma Park and Silver Spring.  These dogs are generally 30 to 75 pounds, strong and would be walked individually.  The ideal candidate will have either owned larger breed dogs, have 2-3 years experience working with canines in either a volunteer or professional dog walking capacity,  or as owners.  Note that all dogs are generally within a 1-3 mile radius of each other to ensure prompt and efficient service.  Candidates will have flexibility in start times with a service window between 11 : 00-4 : 00.  So, if you are active,have a good sense of dog dynamics and behavior, want consistent work, autonomy, desire a kind and encouraging supervisor, and meet the below criteria : are at least 21 years of age   retirees are greatly encouraged to apply are a team player and think fast on your feet are kind, considerate, mindful and engaging with animals and people have a valid driver's license, clean record and can pass a criminal background check own a smart phone with an unlimited data plan  can commit to a minimum of 6 months;  apply now and come walk with us!  Powered by JazzHR
