Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or GED required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certified Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred National Certification Required Personal Training experience preferred Knowledge of proper exercise techniques and the principles of physical fitness Must be able to operate fitness machines and equipment Ability to work with computers Must have good interpersonal communication skills (orally and written) Excellent Customer Service skills (active listening) Independent, self-motivated, (inner drive) Must be able to work with people in a team atmosphere Ability to work in club office; move about the club floors and rooms; review, revise, create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public Required to demonstrate or explain proper physical fitness activities, techniques, and procedures Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Physical effort required for daily duties includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing, walking, and sitting. Ability to communicate telephonically with employees, members, and the public Ability to access and operate company computer systems including prepare documents, enter data into a computer system, read reports from a computer database or email system
