Job descriptionAbility to work during peak business hours, including Fridays, Saturdays and special events Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture Ability to assess threats and over-intoxication Comfortable talking to people Ability to manage multiple people and situations while maintaining composure Must be at least 18 years of age Must have the ability / stamina to work a minimum of 30 hours a week Ability to stand / walk for 2-6 hours per day Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic Work environment : exposure to food, liquor, mixing devices, drink machines, water, sanitizers, cleaning products, knives, other sharp objects, and slippery floors

POSITION SUMMARY : The door person ensures the safety and security of all our guests and staff, and to make sure the customers' nights are fun and exciting. You will play a key role in the operation of our entire business as a visible and powerful force for order.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Greeting patrons and checking IDs
- Collecting cover charges
- Providing security and safety
- Maintaining bar supplies, when needed
- Protecting bar patrons and staff
- Monitoring bar or club perimeter for safety concerns
- Assessing customer aggression or intoxication
