Job Description
We are seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill / Mixer Operator you will be responsible to :
- Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.
- Package finished product in various containers and apply labels
- Clean and maintain machine to TPM Standards
- Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities
- Weigh-Up Batches : Shift auto and manual steps. Follow process order of addition.
- Mix Batch : Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely; follow and adhere to all INX Mixer SOP's
- Hockmeyer mill operation : Run and maintain optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards
- Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas including processing times
- Canning
- Operate the following : Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
- To act as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data
- Complete scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures
- Help with repacks
